2019 Employer Legislative Committees (ELC) Reception


In 1959, the New Jersey Business and Industry Association established its county-level grassroots affiliates, the Employer Legislative Committees (ELCs), all across our great Garden State. For decades these committees of local business people have met with local, county, state and federal officials to discuss the pressing issues of the time. The ELCs have also gathered every two years at a statewide dinner to hear from governors, gubernatorial candidates and state leaders.

As part of this Diamond Celebration, we will also be recognizing the contributions of our own Vice President of Government Affairs, Frank Robinson, who has served as the Executive Director of the ELCs for 16 years. Frank’s long service in Trenton began over 40 years ago as an aide in the New Jersey General Assembly. Throughout his time in Trenton, he has worked with presidents, members of Congress, governors, state legislators, and county officials. He is a tireless advocate for business, both large and small.

Join us to celebrate these two fantastic milestones.
