Join us for the next Joint Environment and Energy Policy Committee meeting on Friday, May 24, 2019 at NJBIA headquarters, 10 West Lafayette Street, Trenton, NJ.  Our guest speaker will be Assemblywoman Nancy Pinkin (D-18), Chair of the Assembly Environment and Solid Waste Committee, who has sponsored various bills that would ban plastic materials and promote electric vehicles.

Items for discussion include, public access, environmental justice, site remediation reforms, the Energy Master Plan and what it means for markets and energy costs, plastic bag bans, the future of electric vehicles, various BPU rate cases, and recent DEP regulatory proposals, including PFOA/PFAS standards and the designation of C-1 streams.
The draft agenda can be found here. Registration and continental breakfast will begin at 8:30 a.m. with the meeting taking place from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.

This will be good time for us to talk about policy issues, and help to further our goals for this year.  NJBIA needs your active involvement to address the challenges ahead.  Together we will work to improve the business climate of New Jersey.
